The 2016 winner of the National Football Foundation's Chris Schenkel Award, Rondeau was also inducted into the Husky Hall of Fame last fall. He began his UW broadcasting career in 1978, when he started out as a radio color commentator for Husky football. In 1981, he took over as play-by-play announcer. He's also spent 31 seasons as UW men's basketball play-by-play announcer.
