
Four GymDawgs Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

SAN FRANSICO– Following a T-3rd place finish at the Pac-12 Championships, four GymDawgs we honored by the Pac-12 as the conference released its All-Pac-12 selections. Head Coach Elise Ray was also named Pac-12 Conference Coach of the Year over the weekend at Pac-12's.
The Huskies' earned one first team selection, as Joslyn Goings was named to the All-Pac-12 First Team for beam. Hailey Burleson (all-around, beam), Kaitlyn Duranczyk (bars), and Alexandra Yacalis (floor) were honored with All-Pac-12 Second Team selections.

The First Team selection for Goings marks her second time being named to an All-Pac-12 First Team, when last year she was named to the First Team for the all-around. Goings is tied for No. 13 in the nation on beam with a Region Qualifying Score (RQS) of 9.915. She is the fourth-ranked gymnast on beam in the Pac-12 and has five beam titles on the year.
In her junior year, Burleson earns her first and second All-Pac-12 selection after being named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team for the all-around and beam. Burleson is the No. 16 all-arounder in the nation and ranks 5th in the Pac-12. She set a career-high of 39.575 in the all-around against Arizona this year. She currently holds an RQS of 39.400. On beam she ranks No. 22 in the nation with an RQS of 9.905.
Duranczyk, a senior, earns her second All-Pac-12 Second Team bars selection in as many years. She won three bars titles this season, and now has a total of ten for her career. Duranczyk is tied for No. 23 in the nation on bars with an RQS of 9.895 and has a top-3 finish on bars in eight out of ten meets this year.
Yacalis earns her first career conference honors as an All-Pac-12 Second Team on floor. She set a career-high 9.925 on senior night and followed that up with a 9.9 at the Pac-12 Championships. Yacalis ranks inside the top-50 on floor and has an RQS of 9.880.

This season, Ray has led the GymDawgs to two scores of 197+, something that has not been done since 2003. The GymDawgs finish the season ranked at No. 13 in the nation with an RQS of 196.735.
The Huskies continue their season, as they will host NCAA Regionals on April 1. They enter the meet as the No. 3 seed and will face Oklahoma, the No. 1 team in the country, No. 12 Kentucky, Utah State, Stanford, and BYU.
