
Huskies To Compete In Session Two of Pac-12 Championships

SAN FRANCISCO – The No. 15 GymDawgs enter the Pac-12 Championships as the four seed and will compete in the evening session starting at 6:00 p.m. (PT). The Championship will be held Saturday, March 18 on campus at Stanford University.
This Saturday will be the first time that Washington has appeared in the evening session of the Pac-12 Championships since the two-session format was introduced.
Heading into senior night against Seattle Pacific this past weekend, the GymDawgs needed to score a 196.85 to clinch a spot in session two. With a 49.350 on floor to finish out the meet, the GymDawgs ended with a 196.925 to secure the four seed and a spot in the evening session.
Defending champions UCLA earned the top seed for the Championship and will compete in session two with a regional qualifying score (RQS) of 197.500. Behind them in the No. 2 seed is Utah with an RQS of 197.355. Holding the No. 3 seed is Oregon State with a 196.875.
No. 5 California, No. 6 Arizona, No. 7 Stanford, and No. 8 Arizona State will compete in session one starting at 1:00 p.m.
Teams and student-athletes from both sessions are eligible for the team and individual awards. Below lists the event at which each team will start Saturday. Competition will proceed in Olympic order.
