Six UW softball players were honored by the Pac-12 and named to all-conference teams this week.
The Huskies will be shooting for their fourth NCAA National Championship when the season-ending regatta begins on May 25 in West Mercer, N.J. Washington has qualified for the event in all 16 years of its existence.
The UW baseball team has eight games left in the 2012 regular season, four each at home and away. The first of those is today as the Huskies play host to Portland in a 5:00 p.m. game.
Matt Thurmond and the No. 3 seeded Huskies left Tuesday for the the NCAA Regional in Norman, Oklahoma. Action for the regional starts Thursday and runs through Saturday.
