Husky Athletics Partners with Social innovator Tagboard

Seattle - The University of Washington Athletic department is proud to announce its partnership with Tagboard. The Redmond based company works to link all social media mentions in one integrated display. UW Athletics will be able to provide all mentions from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook in one place. This link will be located in the bottom center portion of the GoHuskies.com home page. "We are always seeking opportunities to integrate Seattle-based organizations into our digital strategy," Daniel Hour, UW Manager of New Media and Recruiting Services, said. "Tagboard, along with our partnership and collaboration with the Instagrammers of Seattle, is just another innovative method for us to bring social to life for Husky Nation." Tagboard strives to "unify tags, promote standardization, and give people a better experience for discovery and interaction of socialcontent." These goals alone provide UW with the unique opportunity to present specific social media mentions in a visually appealing form. Tagboard technology will be implemented immediately into GoHuskies.com, the official athletic website of Washington Athletics. |
