May 1, 2012 SEATTLE - Several University of Washington coaches, including football's Steve Sarkisian and men's basketball's Lorenzo Romar, are headed to regional locations throughout the month of May as part of a spring speaking tour. The regional outreach events will lead Husky coaches, current and former student-athletes, and staff to Yakima (Monday, May 7), Spokane (Tuesday, May 15), and Portland (Thursday, May 17). "We are excited to have the chance to bring our Husky family to regional sites and connect with some of our most loyal fans," said Jennifer Cohen, UW's senior associate athletic director for advancement. "Our coaches and staff are looking forward to the opportunity to visit with our fans and enjoy their company in a relaxing and fun environment."
