March 26, 2012 SEATTLE - The University of Washington's Husky Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the 2012 class, which will be inducted at an on-campus ceremony on Friday, October 26, 2012. Fans wishing to nominate individuals or teams for the 2012 Husky Hall of Fame class can find a nomination form and further information at GoHuskies.com/HallOfFame. "The Husky Hall of Fame is one of the proudest traditions here at UW, and part of that tradition is the public nomination process," Jen Cohen, Sr. Associate Director of Athletics said. "This allows us to have a full awareness of all the potential candidates, and make the most informed decisions possible."Following the open call, nominations will be brought to the selection committee who will analyze and review all submissions before voting on the class. Each inducted class consists of student-athletes, teams, coaches or athletic administrators, and classes typically do not exceed six inductees. |
