Rondeau Named State's Sportscaster Of The Year
Jan. 10, 2011 Longtime "Voice of the Huskies" Bob Rondeau has been named the state of Washington's Sportscaster of the Year for the eighth time, the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association announced Sunday. Rondeau, who handles the play-by-play for Husky football and men's basketball on KJR 950-AM, along with a variety of other duties related to UW athletics, was honored along with Seattle Times baseball writer Larry Stone, who was named the state's Sportswriter of the Year.
