Covers all aspects of basketball, including team, individual, offensive and defensive skills. Camp includes individual skill competitions and 5 on 5 games. Campers are divided by grade level.

A non-competitive basic skills camp in a fun-filled atmosphere. Campers will learn and practice dribbling, passing and shooting skills.

Designed for individual offensive development. Campers will be taught in a high intensity collegiate atmosphere. Campers focus on shooting, dribbling, passing, footwork and movement without the basketball. Campers are divided by grade level.
Guard Camp can be done in conjunction with Big Man Camp as age appropriate.

Big Man Camp: August 9-11 (Thurs-Sat)

Boys Entering Grades 7-12
Cost: $125
Designed for individual offensive development. Campers will be taught in a high intensity collegiate atmosphere. Campers focus on shooting, low post moves, passing and receiving the ball. Campers are divided by grade level.
Big Man Camp can be done in conjunction with Guard Camp as age appropriate.

High School Spring Academy

The High School Spring Camp is for serious soccer players who want to play at the collegiate level. The Camp will be held in our Dempsey Indoor Facility. The Camp will consist of three sessions over a two day span. A morning session that will mirror a practice for our team at the University of Washington and a night and morning session of competitive games. The University of Washington Men's Soccer staff will direct the camp and other college coaches from around the Seattle area will also be in attendance. Player from the UW soccer team will also help direct the camp. Specialized GK training will be offered. To ensure proper attention and focus on every camper registration will be limited to 60.

High School Residential Academy #1

Sessions will mirror a week of preseason for our team at the University of Washington. This mix of high intensity training while living in the UW dorms and using our facilities will allow a glimpse into what life is like as a Washington Soccer player. The University of Washington Men's Soccer staff will direct the camp, and many other college coaches from around the country will also coach players. Specialized GK training will be offered. To ensure proper attention and focus on every camper registration will be limited to 150.

Half Day Youth Academy
July 9-12  -  Boys Grades K-5
Cost:$150

The 1/2 day academy is for soccer players in K to 5th grade. The emphasis of the camp is on having fun while learning the game. Campers will learn in small group situations and play games that teach the fundamentals of soccer. Individual skill development will be emphasized in a fun filled learning environment.

Full Day Developmental Academy
July 9-12  -  Boys Grades 5-8
Cost:$300

This camp is for soccer players entering 5th-8th grade. The focus of this camp is to help players take their game to the next level while also having a great time. Mornings will consist of technical and small group sessions, while afternoons will focus on tactical situations and full-sided games. The University of Washington Men's Soccer staff will direct the camp. Specialized GK training will be offered.

July 31-Aug. 3  -  Grades 9-12

What is the camp cancellation/refund policy?
For High School Residential Academies (July 9-12 & July 31-Aug. 3): A $100 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 14 days of the camp start date.
For Day Camp (July 9-12): A $100 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 14 days of the camp start date.

Women's Soccer Camps WINTER ACADEMY REGISTRATION

Winter Academy 01/20/2012 - 02/17/2012 - Cost Varies
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., Friday January 20th and running for five consecutive weeks, the UW Women's Soccer Team will conduct the 4th Annual Winter Academy. All players between the ages of 5-6 are welcome to our new one hour modified session. 7-14 year olds and invited to our full 90 minute practice!

College ID Academy - Wednesday evenings, 03/07-04/11, $250
The UW College ID Academy has formerly been known as the Elite Finishing Academy, but has been modified to cater to a higher-level athlete. UW Women's Soccer Head Coach Lesle Gallimore, associate head coach Amy Griffin, and assistant coach Jim Thomas will work with athletes on speed of play, attacking and finishing. The Academy will also focus on defending with a emphasis on the expectations of athletes competing in the PAC-12 Conference.

If you are interested in playing for the Huskies or at any NCAA level, this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your athletic and technical ability, as well as your coachability.

Cost for the UW College ID Academy is $250. Checks can be made payable to "The University of Washington Women's Soccer" and please sned payment and the application to Jim Thomas, Women's Soccer Assistant Coach, at 3910 Montlake BLVD NE, Seattle, WA 98195.

Campers leave tired and happy and ready for more!

Girls Elite Residential Camp 07/19/2012 - 07/22/2012 $450.00
Residential Camp is open for girls entering 8th - 11th grade. Residential Camp will teach advanced techniques and help hone in on how to increase tactical awareness. Curriculum is designed to allow each camper to get an image of Division I soccer at the intercollegiate level. In addition to high-level training sessions, there will also be lectures on sports nutrition, fitness as well as information regarding the NCAA recruiting process. Residential camps are open to individuals and/or teams. Not recommended for the recreational soccer player. Check in for camp will begin on Thursday, July 19th at 2:00 PM and will end on July 22nd Noon. GOALKEEPER TRAINING WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THIS CAMP.

Description Girls Ages 8-16; 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM: 1st- segment of training, each player will be in small group setting for maximum number of touches on the ball. Topics covered will include Dribbling to beat an Opponent, Enhancing 1v1 Defending Skills, Combination Play in Small Groups, Improving the Accurate Long Pass. 2nd - segment is an intense circuit of skills & games that will change rotate every day i.e. soccer tennis competition, dribbling moves to beat a defender, futsol volleyball. Competitive games that improve skill and have a higher touch rate than an 11-aside. 3rd- segment - scrimmages highlighting proper technique and decisions that coincide with the topic of the day. Goalkeeper Training will be available at this camp. GK's expected to train in goal and on the field.
