Williams Makes Professional Softball Debut
Former Husky All-American Niki Williams made her professional softball debut this past weekend.
Williams, who signed with the NPF USSSA Pride as the 16th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2012 NPF Draft, played in three games against the Akron Racers, scoring a run in the first game. Along with Williams, former Huskies Danielle Lawrie, Jenn Salling, and Ashley Charters all play for the USSSA Pride. The Pride (4-4) face the Carolina Diamonds this weekend, starting with a double header on Friday and a game on Sunday.
