MILWAUKIE, Ore. - The Portland Timbers U-23s won its second straight match in Premier Development League play. Forward Mark Sherrod recorded the fourth hat trick in team history, midfielder Eric Miller notched his first PDL goal, and midfielders Cam Vickers and Andrew Ribiero had the assists to lead the team to a 4-1 victory over Victoria Highlanders FC in front of 349 fans at Alder Creek Middle School on Saturday night.

Current Husky goalkeeper Spencer Richey started for the Timbers U-23s and made five saves in 82 minutes before he got subbed out. Three of his five saves came in the second half, including a stop on an attempt by Highlanders forward Josh Heard from the left side of the box that he was able to get to with a diving effort.
