Three Men's Players Make School Visit

Men's soccer players Dylan Tucker-Gangnes, Jamie Finch and Brent Richards recently went to Tukwila Elementary School to talk to one young class about being a collegiate student-athlete. See what Dylan had to say about the trip below.

From Tucker-Gangnes:

I found the experience of talking to the kids and interacting with them to be a great experience not only for the kids but for myself as well. The children were all very interested to hear our back stories (where we were from originally, how old we are, and our likes/dislikes) and what it meant to play soccer for the UW. We each spent about five or 10 minutes individually discussing these topics and then answered questions as a group. The kids were great and it was really nice being able to spend time with them. I hope if the opportunity is presented, I can do something like this again because I think the kids had fun meeting us but I also had fun interacting/meeting them so it was a win-win all around.
