Q&A With Hannah Greig

Senior defender Hannah Greig (Woodinville, Wash.) has played and started in all 20 games this season. She sat down with www.gohuskies.com for a Q&A.

 

Gohuskies.com: What is a pet peeve of yours?

Hannah Greig: "When people leave the cereal/chip bag open and they go stale."

 

GH: What is your pre-game superstition?

HG: "Always chew gum."

 

GH: What is the best present you have ever received?

HG: "A car on my birthday."

 

GH: If you were trapped on a desert island with one teammate, who would you want to be stranded with and why? HG: "Hillary Zevenbergen because she can reach all the fruit in the trees :)."

 

GH: What's your favorite board game?

HG: "Scrabble."

 

GH: Why should others become involved in the great sport of soccer?

HG: "It teaches one to work with a team and keeps you in shape."

 

GH: What is one of the most important things your parents did in your upbringing?

HG: "They always supported my through anything and everything."

 

GH: What don't people outside of your hometown know about where you grew up that you think they should know? HG: "Woodinville sounds like it's a farm town but it really is a great little town that is full of great people and fun entertainment."

 

GH: What is one characteristic a person needs to be a champion?

HG: "The determination to never give up even when you feel like your body can not go anymore."

 

GH: What do you want to leave as a legacy at UW?

HG: "A national championship."
