Q&A With Brooks Hopp

Sophomore Brooks Hopps is a defender from Seattle, Wash. He sat down with www.gohuskies.com for a Q&A.

Gohuskies.com: What is a pet peeve of yours? Brooks Hopp: "When people are rude to waiters."

GH: What is your pre-game superstition?  BH: "I don't really have any superstitions, maybe take a shower before a game but that's it."

GH: What is the best present you have ever received? BH: "A new laptop."

GH: If you were trapped on a desert island with one teammate, who would you want to be stranded with and why? BH: "Fung because he would be in his element and able to survive."

GH: What's your favorite board game? BH: "Monopoly."

GH: Why should others become involved in the great sport of soccer? BH: "It's fun."

GH: If you could train with any professional athlete who would you chose and why? BH: "Brett Favre because he skips training and hangs out all preseason."

GH: What is one of the most important things your parents did in your upbringing? BH: "Made me play soccer."

GH: What don't people outside of your hometown know about where you grew up that you think they should know? BH: "It doesn't rain as much as people think it does."

GH: What do you know now about the game of soccer that you wish you would've known when you started playing the sport? BH: "That it's really hard work."

GH: What is one characteristic a person needs to be a champion? BH: "Resilience."

GH: What do you want to leave as a legacy at UW? BH: "A winning tradition."
