Gohuskies.com: What is a pet peeve of yours?

Dylan Tucker-Gangnes: "When people try to pretend to be something they aren't. Just be yourself."

GH: What is your pre-game superstition?

DTG: "I have a few pre-game superstitions but they are secrets, once your secrets are known they no longer work."

GH: What is the best present you have ever received?

DTG: "A necklace my mom gave me (that I wear everyday) for my 18th birthday. My dad, brother and I all have the same one."

GH: If you were trapped on a desert island with one teammate, who would you want to be stranded with and why?

DTG: "Stephan Fung for comic relief and his expertise on living on an island."

GH: What's your favorite board game?

DTG: "Risk."

GH: Why should others become involved in the great sport of soccer?

DTG: "Because it is the ultimate team game, any team can win on the given day."

GH: If you could train with any professional athlete who would you chose and why?

DTG: "Ray Lewis (Ravens Linebacker) because he's a freak athlete and works hard."

GH: What is one of the most important things your parents did in your upbringing?

DTG: "They encouraged sports/outside activities and made me work hard."

GH: What don't most people outside of your hometown know about where you grew up that you think they should know?

DTG: "I grew up on Bainbridge Island, a small town/tight nit community. The game pickle ball was invented there."

GH: What do you know now about the game of soccer that you wish you would've known when you started playing the sport?

DTG: "The fact that it's actually fairly simply and over complicating it is when bad plays are made."

GH: What is one characteristic a person needs to be a champion?

DTG: "Hard work. Champions don't just appear, they work extremely hard."

GH: What do you want to leave as a legacy at UW?

DTG: "An NCAA Championship."
