Prugh Tied for 16th After Three Rounds In Vegas
LAS VEGAS -- Alex Prugh is tied for 16th at -12 after three rounds of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open. The former Husky All-American could have been in better position, but a bogey and double bogey down the stretch at TPC Summerlin caused his score to balloon.
Prugh shot out of the gates with four birdies on the first six holes and was second on the leaderboard at that point of the tournament. From there, Prugh cooled down and converted one birdie the rest of the way. A bogey on No. 11, No. 16 and a double bogey on No. 17 cost him valuable ground as he head's to Sunday's final round. He ended up at 1-under par 70 for the round. Prugh was paired with the tournament's defending champion Martin Laird, who is leading after 54 holes at -19. He has a one-stroke lead over Jonathan Byrd. Prugh will tee off at 11:15 a.m. PT on Sunday. The Golf Channel will have live coverage of the event from 2-5 p.m.. IMPORTANT LINKSMOST RECENT POSTS
