New Use For Pac-10 Logo

About an hour ago, painters finished applying the final touches to the new Pac-10 logo that will

grace the field at Husky Stadium. The logos are situated on the opposing 25-yard lines, and are emblazoned in purple & white, meaning there will be company for the "W" logo at midfield.

All of the Pac-10 schools will have the conference's new logo on their respective fields for the upcoming football season.

The new logo is one of the unique methods commissioner Larry Scott has used to enhance the branding & marketing of the conference. It was officially unveiled during a trip to the East Coast earlier this month that included coaches and select student-athletes from the member institutions (including Jake Locker & Coach Steve Sarkisian).
