All credit to the Seattle Times' Bob Condotta for digging these up, so hope he doesn't mind us passing along a few links on some accomplishments of incoming UW freshman football players:

• Over on the Islands, Lawrence Lagafuanina had a good time in the Hawai'i state track & field championships, winning the state title in the shot put, while taking second in the discus.

• Future Husky cornerback Gregory Ducre of Crenshaw High ran a 48.89 in the 400 at the LA City Section track preliminaries.

• Long Beach Jordan's Princeton Fuimaono has been selected to play in the 43rd Annual 605 All-Star Game.

• Staying in Southern California, Redlands East Valley's Andrew Hudson was one of several honorees at the Ken Hubbs Awards banquet.
