Golfweek.com Staff Makes National Championship Picks

Two of Golfweek.com's main college golf writers -- Lance Ringler and Ron Balicki -- made their picks for the NCAA Men's Golf Championships and each selected Washington as their winners.

Balicki apologizes to Washington coach Matt Thurmond for picking his team in the article as typically that has been the kiss-of-death for that team. He claims to have picked the winner only three times in 25 years of predicting the college national champion. Ringler on the otherhand says that the Huskies have been the hottest team in the spring and based on recent trends, the numbers are good for Washington and Clemson.

Hopefully, these two respected college golf experts are right and a week from today the Huskies will be celebrating their first-ever men's golf NCAA Championship.
