Prugh Tied For 16th At Houston OpenHUMBLE, Texas - Alex Prugh shot a first round 2-under-par 70 at the Shell Houston Open and is tied for 16th with 12 other golfers. Prugh was 2-over after 12 holes before going on a birdie spree to get in the red. He birdied No. 4 (he teed off from the back nine) and then strung together three-straight birdies on No. 6, 7 and 8. The former Husky All-American drained a 16-foot putt on No. 4 and then was able to chip in from off the green on No. 7.
