Prugh Even Par After First Round at Quail Hollow

Alex Prugh shot an even-par 72 in the first round of the Quail Hollow Championship and is tied for 44th. He is seven shots behind leader Bo Van Pelt, who shot a 65.

Among those Prugh is ahead of in the standings is Tiger Woods, who is at 2-over 74 after Thursday's round.

Prugh had a streaky round that saw him even after the first three holes, followed by three-consecutive bogeys, which he answered with three birdies on the next five holes. He closed with two more bogeys and two birdies.

Prugh will tee off at 8:30 a.m. local (5:30 PT) on the 10th tee.
