NFL Draft Starts Today
The NFL Draft gets underway later today. It's a new format this year as the draft is now a three-day event. Only the first round will be completed today, followed by the second and third rounds tomorrow and the fourth through seventh on Saturday.
The first round will air live on both ESPN and the NFL Network tonight (Thu., Apr. 22), starting at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time. On Friday, coverage of the second and third rounds begins at 3:00 p.m. on the NFL Network and ESPN (ESPN's coverage switches to ESPN2 at 4:00 p.m.). Finally, it all wraps up with with seven more hours of coverage (7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.) on Saturday on ESPN and eight hours on NFL Network (7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.). The UW sends best wishes to all draft-eligible former Huskies. Of course, linebacker Donald Butler and defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim are, by all accounts, the two mostly likely Dawgs to be drafted as both have seen their stock moving up considerably during the post-season combines, workouts, evaluations, etc. Good luck!
