Mackenzie, Friberg Tied For 70th At Nabisco Championship

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - Louise Friberg and Paige Mackenzie each shot a 3-over 75 in the first round of the Kraft Nabisco Championship and are tied for 70th.

Friberg started out on fire and was 4-under par after eight holes to find herself in second place. But from there, she struggled and was 7-over-par over the last 10 holes.

Mackenzie was also 3-over on the day. She teed off on No. 10 and was even after the first six holes, but bogeyed two of the next three holes. She bounced back with a birdie on No. 2, but would go on to bogey No. 5 and No. 8.

Suzann Peterson leads the tournament, which is one of four Majors on the LPGA Tour, after shooting a 5-under 67.
