Mackenzie 16th After Second Round in Mexico

MORELIA, Mexico - Former Husky golf standout Paige Mackenzie continued her strong play in the Tres Marias Championship, shooting a second-round 3-under 70 to go 5-under 141 overall for the tournament. She is tied for 16th, seven strokes behind leader Michelle Wie.

Mackenzie had four birdies and one bogey during her round. She shot 35's on both sides.

Fellow Husky alum Louise Friberg did not fare as well as Mackenzie, failing to make the cut at +7 overall.

Mackenzie will tee off at 11:08 local time.
