Linton, Walior Enjoy Nationals Experience
Washington juniors Kristen Linton and Samantha Walior enjoyed their time in Gainesville, Fla., where they competed recently at the 2010 National Collegiate Gymnastics Championships.
The duo advanced to the national meet on floor exercise after tying for the NCAA Regional title in Salt Lake City with 9.900 scores. It marked the first time more than one UW gymnast advanced to nationals since 2003. Head coach Joanne Bowers has now sent athletes to the finals in three of her four seasons.
