Lincecum Goes To 4-0 With Win Over Cards
Tim Lincecum was back at it again for the San Francisco Giants on Friday, winning his fourth game of the season in his fourth start with a 4-1 victory over St. Louis.
The former Husky and two-time NL Cy Young Award winner pitched seven innings, allowing one run on six hits and three walks while fanning eight. Not bad at all as, according to this San Jose Mercury-News story, he didn't have his best stuff.
For the year, Lincecum is now 4-0 with a 1.00 earned run average. He's allowed only three runs and 19 hits over 27 innings, while striking out 32 and walking six.
Here's the Associated Press account of the game.
