Friday Spring Football News Roundup
We're coming down the stretch in Husky Football spring practice. Thursday's session was the 11th of 15 this spring. And, seeing as it was also the first day of the NFL Draft, much the press attention was paid to that. Let's take a look through the pages of the Puget Sound-area's newspapers.
• It's Jake and the draft in Todd Milles' story in the Tacoma News-Tribune. Milles also has this blog entry that includes audio from Locker. • In the Everett Herald, Scott Johnson also focuses on the same subject in his story, which includes the understatement of the year from receiver Devin Aguilar: "I'm kind of glad he stayed." • On, essentially, the same topic, Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times concentrates on the angle that makes the case that Sam Bradford going No. 1 overall helps validate Locker's decision. • GoHuskies.com has a look at the fullbacks and the race to replace Paul Homer. As always, you'll find tons of video, photos, news and info at Friday Night Lights Spring Game Central.
