The Vancouver (Canada) Province made an interesting observation regarding the weekend of Sept. 11. Why not make it a two-for-one football weekend?

Road trip! The Seattle Seahawks just released their 2010 NFL schedule, and how's this for a weekend sports getaway? Saturday, Sept. 11: Heisman hopeful Jake Locker and the University of Washington Huskies host Syracuse at Husky Stadium, home of the best tailgating in the Pacific Northwest. Sunday, Sept. 12: Seahawks versus the 49ers at Qwest Field. Seriously, let's make this happen. We'll rent the van; you supply the PBR and Tim's potato chips.
