Prugh Playing Well Again

PALM BEACH GARDEN, Fla. - Alex Prugh continued his excellent run in his PGA Tour rookie season shooting a 2-under 68 in the first round of The Honda Classic on Thursday. His round put him in a 10-way tie for ninth, three strokes behind leaders Nathan Green and Michael Connell.

Prugh started his round from the back nine of the PGA National Champion course and stayed even through the first 11 holes before back-to-back birdies on No. 3 and 4 got him 2-under. He went on to bogey the Par-3 seventh hole, but bounced back with a birdie on No. 8.

Prugh will start the second round from No. 1 at 12:51 ET on Friday.
