UW Assists In American Samoa Tsunami Relief
Through the efforts of the Tuiasosopo family, representatives of World Vision have put together a Tsunami Disaster Relief Effort for Samoa. This group will be outside Husky Stadium this Saturday evening at the Arizona at Washington football game collecting donations. The Tuiasosopo family and others are urging Husky fans to "Fill the Helmet" to help traumatized children and families receive much-needed supplies like clothing, personal hygiene items and medical assistance. With schools, businesses and villages completely distroyed and thousands of people living in tents, recovery will be a long process and assistance of any amount is greatly appreciated. 100 percent of the donations received will go to Tsunami Disaster Relief. World Vision is a Christian humanitarian charity organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities. IMPORTANT LINKSMOST RECENT POSTS
