Day Three
We truly enjoyed our first golf course in New Zealand at Gulf Harbour Resort.  The back nine offered amazing views on all nine holes.  But according to the locals, who took a peek at our itinerary, it's only going to get better as we go along.  The Carrington Golf Resort was the next course on our list. This course had many beautiful views of the Bay of Islands. The course took a little bit of time to get to, but definitely was worth the drive.

Day Four
We played the most amazing golf course, Kauri Cliffs, which is an award winning five-star luxury Golf & Spa Resort located in Northland, Kerikeri, North Island.  This course is absolutely AMAZING!   The views were breathtaking and the team had their cameras out taking pictures on every hole.

Kauri Cliffs was one of the two golf courses that hosted the 2008 Kiwi Challenge PGA Tour Event Challenge.  In 2008 the Kiwi Challenge featured four of the top young players in the world: Adam Scott, Brandt Snedeker, Anthony Kim and Hunter Mahan.  They played 18 holes each day over two days on two of the most picturesque courses in the world, Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers.

I personally felt this was the best golf course I have ever played, but we were playing Cape Kidnappers in a few days, so it may change.  Can't wait...it's great to be Husky!  GO DAWGS!!!
