UW vs. USC - Stating The Obvious

The obvious storyline this week for UW football is the familiarity between the currently Husky program and USC's - considering that head coach Steve Sarkisian served as the offensive coordinator and Husky defensive coordinator Nick Holt was the leader of the Trojan defense last year.

A number of media outlets wrote that story for today's editions.  Here are a few links:

Los Angeles Times writer David Wharton spent some time with Coach Sark a few weeks ago and writes how much energy Sark has brought to the UW program.

Bob Condotta writes that Saturday's game will be "just be football."

Tim Booth from the Associated Press filed this report looking ahead to Saturday's game among friends.

Tacoma News Tribune's Todd Milles calls Saturday's game the Southern Cal Showdown.

And Dawgman.com chimes in about the Mutual Admiration Society among the two programs.

In a non-Sark vs. USC story, the Everett Herald's Scott Johnson explains how the UW coaches are pleased with the UW's diversified offense.
