Mackenzie Makes Cut At LPGA Canadian Open

Calgary, Alberta -- Former Husky golfer Paige Mackenzie made the cut for the CN Canadian Open at the Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club in Calgary, Alberta. After two rounds, Mackenzie is tied with 18 other golfers in 30th place at 1-under 141.

Mackenzie shot a 2-over 73 on Friday after shooting a 3-under 68 on Thursday. In the second round today, Mackenzie shot a 2-under on the front nine but struggled on the back nine with a 4-over.

Mackenzie is scheduled to tee of from No. 10 at 9:10 a.m. local time on Saturday.

Other Huskies, Louise Friberg and Amber Prange, failed to make the cut. Friberg shot a 2-over 73 on Friday after shooting a 74 on Thursday. She ended up tied at 108th at 147 overall. Prange finished tied for 137th after ending up +9 over 151.
