Husky Hoops Picked Second In Pac-10 By ESPN

Football season hasn't even started and we're already seeing prognostications for the upcoming college basketball season. The Big Daddy -- ESPN -- came out with their look at the Pac-10 Conference and has Washington listed as finishing second behind California. More exactly, Doug Gottlieb has the Huskies picked second.

In the same article, Andy Katz, has a quick look around at each team in the league. The resounding theme of both authors is that UW's guard play will be intriguing and replacing Jon Brockman will be the biggest question mark.

Also, Abdul Gaddy is listed as both Washington's key player to watch and freshman that we can't wait to see.

For those keeping track at home, the Husky players report on Sept. 14 and will begin practicing officially in October.

Second??? The defending champs should be picked FIRST! Those national guys never give us enough respect!!!! we'll see who is lifting the trophy in March. I can guarantee it will be coach ROMAR and the DAWGS!
