Huskies Ranked No. 2 In Nike/Golf World Poll; Taylor Featured In Golf Week

The first Nike/Golf World Coaches poll was released today and Washington is ranked No. 2. The poll combines the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results will appear in the September 28^th issue and can be viewed online now at www.golfworld.com

This is the second poll to come out recently, with Washington earning a pre-season No. 3 ranking in the Golf Week poll a few weeks back. Speaking of Golf Week magazine, the Huskies are featured today in their college notebook, including a large photo of Nick Taylor. The team is busy preparing for the PING/Golf Week Invitational at Gold Mountain in Bremerton, which starts on Saturday with a practice round.
