Former Dawgs In the UFL

The new United Football League released its training camp rosters for its four teams and there were three former Huskies on those rosters, including two with regular-season NFL experience.

Wide receiver Sonny Shackelford was listed on the California Redwoods roster. Longtime NFL-er Tony Parrish, a safety, is with the Las Vegas Locomotives and running back Rich Alexis will play for the New York Sentinels.

The first game of the UFL's schedule is Oct. 8 in Vegas, when the Locomotives take on California. Two days later, New York faces the Florida Tuskers in Orlando.
