Final Day in New Zealand
Husky assistant coach Andrea VanderLende checked in from New Zealand for GoHuskies.com after day 11. Here is her wrap-up from the 11 day trip.
• Check out the latest photos in the updated Photo Gallery! Our final round in New Zealand was at Paraparaumu Golf Club. This course has hosted the New Zealand Open 12 times in the history of the Championship. Once again we had terrible weather but played through it and ended up having a great time. We paired up with a group of Paraparaumu locals who were very accommodating and helped us navigate our way around the course. This round concluded our final portion of qualifying. The girls worked hard to battle in the wind and rain to prepare for the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at Sahalee Country Club in Redmond. After playing many difficult courses, we are ready to tackle our first home tournament and want to begin the year with a win on our territory.
