Coach Wurzberger Checks In
Long-time men's soccer coach Dean Wurzberger checked in to GoHuskies.com today to give his thoughts on his busy summer, the Seattle Sounders and his 2009 Husky team. To read Dean's enjoyable blog, click here.
Wurzberger is in his 18th season with the UW men's soccer program. A former Seattle Sounders reserve-team player himself into the 1970s, Wurzberger coached alongside current Sounders coach Sigi Schmid at UCLA before coming to Seattle. Since coming to UW in 1992, Wurzberger has led UW to 12 NCAA appearances, including 11 of the last 14 years.
