Taylor Moves Up In Second Round

Nick Taylor shot a 4-under 68 in the second round of the 2009 Canadian Men's Amateur Championship to go to 4-under overall for the tournament and move into a tie for fourth place. Husky teammate Darren Wallace is tied for seventh place, one stroke back of Taylor at 3-under overall.

Wallace was 1-over in his second round after shooting a 68 in the first round.

2009 NCAA Individual Champion Matt Hill of North Carolina State leads the field at 7-under overall.

Play was suspended yesterday due to darkness after a total of six hours of rain delays pushed rounds into the late evening. The golfers took the course early this morning and wrapped up their rounds at the Club de golf Le Blainvillier in Blainville, Quebec.
