Roy Reportedly Agrees To Contract Extension

Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Washington alum Brandon Roy is set to sign a contract extension with the Portland Trail Blazers for five years and in the $78-82 million range!

That's a lot of bobbleheads he can buy!

Evidently the Blazers are planning a press conference for Thursday to announce the signing.

The contract is great for Husky fans as they can make the trek three hours south to see the former All-American and 2007 NBA Rookie of the Year for at least five more years. And of course it is great for Brandon to be able to take care of his family and remain in the Northwest for the heyday of his career.
