Former Husky Harden Featured on ESPN.com

Former UW soccer player Ty Harden was featured on ESPN.com today for his recent charity work in Nairobi and his return to the MLS with the Colorado Rapids. Check out this great feature on the former Husky defender who played at UW from 2003-06 before being drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Harden was a four-year letterwinner for the Dawgs and a captain his last two seasons. He was named a Third Team All-American by the NSCAA in 2006 and was a four-time All-Pac-10 selection. He joined the Rapids in January of 2009 after beginning his career with the Galaxy, being named the team's 2007 Defensive Player of the Year. Harden has appeared in seven games this season with Colorado, which is currently third in the MLS Western Conference.
