Dawgs In the Papers: Wednesday
With day two of the Husky football practice season in the books, the papers had plenty to say Wednesday morning. Seems like tight ends were the topic of the day as all three area papers covered the position in one way or another.
Here's a look at the headlines: first up is a feature on safeties coach Jeff Mills, who was a graduate assistant at the UW in 1990 and 1991. Read it at gohuskies.com. The Tacoma News-Tribune had a pair of stories. Columnist Dave Boling opines in this column after having observed Monday's practice while beat writer Todd Milles focuses on the notion of a "clean slate" in his story. The clean slate also comes up in coverage from Scott M. Johnson in the Everett Herald. His piece focuses primarily on Chris Izbicki. Finally, in the Seattle Times, you can read about Izbicki and Kavario Middleton in Bob Condotta's main story and get a wrap of day two in his blog. Another practice Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Hope to see you there! No TrackBacksTrackBack URL: http://cstv.collegesports.com/mt/mt-tb.cgi/181 IMPORTANT LINKSMOST RECENT POSTS
