Dawgs In the Papers: Thursday, Aug. 27
As we head into the final day of fall camp, anticipation is rising for the start of the 2009 college football season. The Huskies' opener Sept. 5 vs. LSU is just a little over a week away.
As always, we'll start right here at gohuskies.com. We have a Q-and-A with Husky safety Nate Williams. In the same place, you'll find a photo gallery from Wednesday's practice, a brief practice update and video of Coach Sarkisian's post-practice press briefing. Scott Johnson, in today's Everett Herald, examines how the Husky offense might look under Sarkisian in this piece. In the Tacoma News-Tribune, concentrates primarily on yesterday's practice and the fact that the team took a turn towards game preparation in his story. Finally, in the Seattle Times, Bob Condotta's main story looks at 27-year old safety Tripper Johnson. He also has this blog entry on Wednesday's practice.
