Taylor Wins In First Round Of Match Play

Nick Taylor has been fortunate the past two days in that he has had 7 a.m. tee times and been able to avoid the sweltering Oklahoma heat at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship. It also has helped that he has played stellar golf!

This morning he beat Craig Cyr, 6 and 4, in the first round of match play. He now gets to rest up for the rest of the day and wait until the second round tomorrow morning. He will again tee off at 7:00 a.m. against the winner of today's match between David Johnson and Brett Munson.
