Taylor Finishes U.S. Open At 8-OverNick Taylor shot a 5-over 75 in the final round of the U.S. Open to finish an impressive 8-over 288 for the tournament. He can lay claim as the top amatuer from the field of 18 that made the tournament, only three of which made the cut. Taylor finished in a tie for 36th overall and would have earned over $40,000 if he was eligible for the money.
