New Husky Stadium Field Nearly Complete

The new FieldTurf surface in Husky Stadium is now installed and some of the final touches, such as painting the numbers and such, are being finalized. The gold end zones are expected to be painted later this summer, after the athletic department facilities folks are able to find a suitable gold color. Interestingly, the intial color they selected looked great in the sunlight, but didn't display so well in the shade or at night. So, it was back to the drawing board in order to get it right!

The field looks great! Let's hope the Dawgs get it going this fall! I'm feeling good about Coach Sark and the boys!
