The softball team will be introduced by Councilmember Phillips, who will invite other councilmembers and the King County Executive to make short remarks and read the proclamation. Members of the 2009 Husky softball team will be able to speak briefly before being presented with an official recognition by the King County Council. The men's crew will then be introduced by Councilmember Phillips, who will repeat the process with the rowers. All athletes in attendance will have their pictures taken with the King County Council and the King County Executive. The meeting will be broadcast live on KCTV (channel 22) and online here.
