Sarkisian Upcoming Charity Appearances
Husky Football Coach Steve Sarkisian is definitely making his presence felt in a positive way in the Seattle community. He will be busy supporting charitable causes on several occasions during the next week.
Tomorrow he is slated to appear at a charity event supporting the Matt Talbot Center in Seattle. Greg Alex, the Husky team chaplain, is the founder and executive director of the Matt Talbot Center, a ministry to Seattle's homeless, addicted and mentally ill. Under Alex's Pastoral leadership the Ministry operates a full range of support and rehabilitative services including a state licensed substance abuse treatment program, and a state-of-the-art, 50 unit, clean and sober apartment complex that opened in 2003. Then, on Thursday, May 28, Sarkisian will participate in Seattle Public School's Breakfast of Champions. All funds raised will support athletic programs for Seattle Public Schools High School student athletes. Special focus for this event will be additional support for High School Football and Boys & Girls Soccer. To attend this event or donate, please click here. IMPORTANT LINKSMOST RECENT POSTS
