The Washington novice eight boat took first in a wire-to-wire finish in the Women's Collegiate Novice Grand Final on the second day of the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay. The Huskies raced in a total of four grand finals on Sunday, earning two third-place finishes by the 2V8 and V4, and a fifith-place finish by the varsity eight.
For the second year in a row the junior class comes out on top at the 112th Class Day Regatta.
