There's a new, suite life on the south side of Husky Stadium

One-hundred yards of suites.

That’s what the south stands of renovated Husky Stadium feature midway up from field level. From end zone to end zone, for Husky touchdowns to goal-line stands, 27, private, state-of-the-art suites afford prime amenities and the stadium’s best sightlines of the field, the Olympic Mountains and Lake Washington.

Each suite is approximately 500 square feet of luxury, with 18 seats and standing room for four. Each has operable windows for climate-controlled yet open-air game viewing, and comes with access to the Club Husky Lexus lounge and an exclusive viewing deck in the stadium’s southwest corner.

There are actually 30 luxury suites in the new stadium, but only 27 are for sale – unless you want to buy out University President Michael K. Young’s game-day home. He has a beautiful triple suite, on the sideline in the southwest area of the suite level.

Each suite holder receives exclusive tickets that look like a credential. Each patron also receives four priority parking passes for the new, 199-stall parking garage underneath the south stands adjoined to the new UW Sports Medicine Clinic. Suite holders can access that garage by driving through the E-12 parking lot to its northern end. Elevators from the garage directly access the suite level.

Once upstairs, suite patrons will be able to enjoy a variety of wine from a list expanded beyond those in the stadium’s other premium-seating areas. UW is emphasizing wines from Washington, and some made by wineries owned by UW alumni, in all premium-seating areas.

Suites have their own unique food options, as well, with menus specific to luxury-suite patrons.

Suite holders’ access to the new Club Husky Lexus will also allow them to experience live-action food stands with fresh Asian creations all season and a rotating, special presentation for each home game. For the Aug. 31 unveiling against Boise State, chefs will create street tacos, food-truck style, from the middle of the club-level lounge.

Luxury suites are sold out for the re-opening game Aug. 31, but some suites remain available on a limited basis for the rest of the home schedule. They are proving to be popular with both families and businesses hosting clients. Contact Stacy Slade in the Husky Ticket Office at 206.221.0617 or slslade@uw.edu for more information.
